Highland Park 18yo
If you’re looking for a classic gift on fathers day this year, you don’t have to look any further. The answer is right here, this Highland Park 18 years old exudes determination and will make you and your father very, very happy. We think it is everyone's friend and an excellent whisky to sit down with for several hours and to have deep conversations with the man who's raised you to who you are today. We believe every whisky enthusiast should have this dram in their collection.
Nose
Orange blossom, lightly peated barley, oranges, oak, vanilla, cherry, a bit earthy even, citrus and candle wax.
Palette
Gently sliding across the tongue. A fruity, almost candy like sweetness with citrus, orange, apple, cherry, barley and vanilla.
Finish
That typical Highland Park whiff of smoked barley. Sweet and lightly drying into tropical fruits, spiced oak, strawberry, orange zest, cherry and peach

The Dalmore - Cigar Malt Reserve
Whether or not your father enjoys himself a cigar from time to time, the Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve is a good gift for your old man. The whisky is crafted to pair with the Partagas Serie D No 4 cigar, which is available at the better tobacconist. It would make this gift even more awesome. But even without one, you can’t go wrong with the taste:
Nose
Deep and complex, warm coffee, fruits and chocolate, dried fruits later on, with vanilla biscuits.
Palette
Soft, fruity and juicy, pineapple, spiced oak and fresh plums
Finish
Compared to the palate it’s a lot warmer, spicy dried fruits, orange zest, honeyed raisins and a slight bitterness of pure chocolate.

Talisker Port Ruighe
Even if your father is not a seasoned whisky connaisseur, chances are he's already been acquainted with Talisker. If he liked that, consider gifting him a Talisker with a twist. Port Ruighe has finished on port casks which goes very well with the friendly peated character.
Nose
Spicy oak, full and sweet hints of grapes and cherries. It’s beautifully mineral. It vaguely resembles smelling a jar of peas.
Palette
Soft and creamy mouthfeel with red fruits and wood, but don’t forget the salty sea influence and struck matches.
Finish
Thick grapes and sulphur, they go well together. Spicy wood, pepper and minerals. The finish is sweet and pretty long. The smoky flavours are very subtle, it’s the thick sweetness that overrules.

Redbreast 12yo Cask Strength
Redbreast is the go-to whiskey of Bruce Springsteen. What more should we say? If The Boss likes it, your father might as well. This 12 year old pot still whiskey has a beautiful sherry influence. Surprise your father with this well crafted drop of the Irish, but be careful, it might as well become his favourite dram too.
Nose
A bold nose with a nice Irish influence: Copper, biscuits and spicy wood, caramelised apple, cedar wood, vanilla and green apple.
Palette
Sweet, dry and warming. Lots of vanilla and dried fruits. The cask strength ABV keeps the flavours confined on the palate, but no worries, they’ll be released in the grand finale.
Finish
There it comes: raisins, a bourbon-like spiciness, lots of tannines from the oak, sweet layers of cake and cream, orchard fruits, sugar powdered bananas, coconut, peach and warming spices.

Glendronach 21yo Parliament
There’s one whisky we would love to get on fathers day, or any other day of the year for that matter. This Glendronach 21 years old Parliament really is something special on the inside and outside as well. Look at her, she would be offended if you hide her because she deserves a prominent place in your house. If you’re looking to purchase this Parliament, look for ‘older’ bottles because they might be a lot older than stated on the label! It makes a great investment as well because Glendronach is hot these days!
Nose
Lively fruits and woody notes, sweet spices, nicely refreshing with unmistakable hints of Christmas cake.
Palette
Smooth mouthfeel. Spicy wood, sweet cereals, strawberry, vivid sherry flavours, pencil shavings, vanilla and chocolate coated raisins.
Finish
Minerally, orchard fruits, vanilla ice cream, strawberry, honey, milk chocolate and some subtle bitter notes of nutmeg and lime.
