Whisky and 007 fans should pay attention. Two legends in their fields have joined forces to produce a limited-edition series comprising six bottles of Macallan single malt Scotch Whisky to celebrate 60 years of the longest running film franchise of all time.
Each bottle in the series represents a different decade and features uniquely designed sleeves. The illustrations on the bottles are inspired by the behind-the-scenes exploration of Bond archives, giving you a rare glimpse into the world of 007. Whether you’re a fan of the movies or just appreciate fine whiskey, this collection is sure to please!
The Macallan has been featured in several James Bond films over the years, becoming Bond’s whisky of choice. Notably in Goldfinger (1964), where Sean Connery’s character is seen enjoying a dram of the fine whisky. And more recently, a bottle of The Macallan Fine & Rare 1962 was featured in Skyfall (2012). Those who are fans will perhaps remember the scene where Silva says to Bond “50-year-old Macallan. A particular favourite of yours I understand?”
This limited-edition series is the perfect way to enjoy both the history and legacy of two global icons.

The perfect whisky for the perfect spy series
Created by master whisky maker Kirsteen Campbell, the whisky used in each of the six limited edition James Bond bottles has been matured for a minimum of 18 years in The Macallan’s finest sherry-seasoned casks. And in homage to the Spy himself, all six whiskies have been bottled at 43.7% – a nod to the 007 agent number assigned to Bond.
The result is a smooth and sophisticated whisky with notes of citrus, ginger and oak, characteristics of which are considered to reflect 007’s own character and his Scottish heritage.
The Macallan has also created a series of immersive experiences to accompany the release of the limited-edition bottles. These include a virtual reality tour of The Macallan’s whisky-making process and a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the limited-edition James Bond bottles.
There will also be screenings of classic James Bond films, paired with whisky tastings and cocktails inspired by the movies.
