The Tullibardine distillery is located in Blackford and is classed as a Highlands region distillery. Compared to most distilleries, it is very youthful, as it has only been operating since 1949.
About Tullibardine Distillery
The distillery is still active and is now owned by Picard Vins & Spiritueux. The current capacity is 2,700,000 litres and its’ water source is from the Ochil Hill and Danny Burn.
The distillery was mothballed in 1995 by Whyte & Mackay but resumed production in 2003 under Tullibardine Distillery Ltd. In 2011 it was sold to its current owners, the French wine group, Picard Vins & Spiritueux.
