Blair Athol Distillery
The Blair Athol distillery is located on the south of Pitlochry in Perthshire, which is in the Highland region of Scotland. It has been operating since 1798 when the founders Robert Robertson and John Steward started production.

The distillery is still active and is now owned by Diageo. The current capacity is 2,500,000 litres and its’ water source is the Allt Dour Burn.
Blair Athol was initially known as the Aldour Distillery but closed soon after. It changed hands to John Robertson and reopened in 1825. The distillery once again closed in 1932 and wasn’t reopened until 1949 once it had been rebuilt. Two more stills were added in 1973 during an expansion.
