The BenRiach distillery is located in Moray, in the Speyside region of Scotland. It has been operating since 1898 when the founder John Duff opened its doors.
About BenRiach Distillery
The distillery is still active and is now owned by Brown-Forman. The current capacity is 2,800,000 litres and its’ water source is the Burnside Springs.
Benriach used to be joined by private railway to another distillery owned by John Duff called Longmorn, but soon after stopped production due to bankruptcy of a major Scotch Whisky purchaser. It only produced malt for Longmorn Distillery until 1965 when BenRiach produced spirit again.
